I decided to break free of scraps for a few hours yesterday and make Christmas presents on my sewing machine.

And who doesn't need re-purposed, re-usable, reversible grocery bags in cute little pouches? I scoured the net for what seemed like days looking for patterns I thought would translate well to the fabric (old curtains and pillow cases) I was using. And I found zilch. I was very inspired, but in the end just went ahead and did what I thought would work in the beginning.
I need to practice button holes, because they didn't turn out quite the way I envisioned. I also want to go to the fabric store and get some embroidery floss and learn how to embroider. Can't be that hard, right?

That's all for now, can't wait to see what creativeness today brings!

I can't believe how fast Christmas has come once again, gosh how the years are flying by!
I still haven't started planning for Christmas presents yet and its November tomorrow! I really must put some time aside this weekend and get some notes down on what to buy people. I have an idea on what to get my husband though which is good, I've been looking at the Waterstones sale and have found a John Lennon book that I am sure he will love.
