What is up with the world this week?

Seems like everyone is having a difficult week... Is Mercury in retrograde or something? (I have no idea of that would cause unrest but it sounded like I did, didn't it?)

In an attempt to cheer myself up, behold a list of reasons why I think my life is pretty today:

... I have this great friend, Ashley, who likes to send me AWESOME stuff in the mail and bless me with blog awards... Have I told you enough how much I appreciate your packages? They make my week. This week was a bloody fantastic necklace and some gen maicha tea (plus an assortment of other lovelies)!!! My favorite.

... We re-arranged the bedroom to fit our new bed better. Look Sean's handicraft produced from an old bookcase!

... It's September. That means that fall is coming, then winter is coming and I love winter. Rain and tea and holidays and coziness and comfort... YUM.

... I have drawers and drawers of yarn and roving to play with. In fact, I think today I'll finish up some handspun two-ply in fall colors for a swap. Lovely.

... We're having tuna casserole for dinner. Does it get better than that?

I swear a real blog post is coming... Hang in there.

yay! Glad you liked it! I picked up that tea for you when I was in China Town in LA. Your yarn is seriously beautiful! You're doing a great job! Did you find it hard to learn?

Nope, it does not get any better than tuna casserole. That is my favorite, I have it for every birthday, and every comfort needing meal.

The repurposed book shelf looks wonderful
